    😳 Did you know that selling your services will 😳 Did you know that selling your services will always be hard? 

Wait, what??

❌ Yeah - I said it - no one wants your services… all the things that you provide… no, they want none of it.

But, you know what they do want? They want the experience, the value, and the knowledge that you provide as a service-based creative entrepreneur. ✨

Because let’s get really real here for a second, as a service, anyone can do what you do if your business is skill-based - it can be learned. 

They either don’t have the time, know-how or energy to learn, so they hire an expert - YOU.

It all requires you standing out from others… having a true differentiating factor that makes working with you a no-brainer. 

And, if you don’t know how to stand out and show that value, that EXPERIENCE your brand provides, it’s hard to sell your expertise and get in front of, and stay top of mind of your ideal clients.

Think about it - take Apple for a second. 

They don’t come right out and say “we sell computers, phones and tablets” they sell an experience - and it’s engrained in every single thing that they do. That’s their differentiating factor - not the amount of memory or speed of their computers.

    Wouldn’t it be nice to grow your business doing Wouldn’t it be nice to grow your business doing the same things you’ve always done in the past? That would certainly be THE DREAM! 🙌

But, the reality is, if you keep doing the same things you’ve always done, then you’ll keep getting the same results. 

And, if what you’re doing at the moment is making you feel stuck and unmotivated… then chances are if you continue doing what you’re doing, then you’ll stay that way. #truthbomb 💣

Think about it - let’s say you want to train for a race and you’ve never run a day in your life. If you keep sitting on your couch watching Netflix and you have that race in a month - you would likely need to put on those running shoes and get moving and start doing things differently. Because, it’s certainly harder to build that endurance and the ability to run a race, if you aren’t doing anything to train. 🏃🏼‍♀️ 

The thing is, it’s the SAME thing in your business. If you want to see real growth and see bigger results, you have to start changing up what you’re doing. Simple as that. Because, what got you here, won’t get you to where you want to be.

    It’s launch day!!! I never knew how freeing (and It’s launch day!!! I never knew how freeing (and also how scary) it would be to use something so simple as my name for my business!

I’ve come to realize that sometimes the things that scare us the most, are oftentimes the things we need to lean into the most. And for me, that was no longer hiding behind what I thought other people’s ideas were of me. Coming from an industry where perfection is celebrated, the need to be “perfect” permeated throughout everything I did.

For me, I decided that I needed to get quiet, to start reflecting, and in doing so, I started living. I started living in joy, in discovery, in inspiration, and in growth. So, instead of perfect, I strive for being proud.

Here, you are going to start seeing the real me. Maybe not ALL things about me (because #boundaries), but you’ll see me. You’re going to see more color, more of my face, more of my thoughts and I truly hope to connect in a more meaningful way with you.

Think of Lindsay Jani & Co as the parent company, and for those wondering, Simply Sunshine Events is still here. It’s just an arm of what I really do.

Over the next few weeks, I’m changing the look of things around here and on my other channels, but just know, it’s still the same person behind everything… just version 2.0.
